As announcements of the results of LSC elections come out on Tuesday, December 1, RYH is proud of the impact we have made this election cycle, starting with our first program in January, an 180+ person LSC summit. Since then, we have held over 15 LSC election specific workshops, 14 LSC member meetings to address equity gaps, 10 LSCs.4.ALL coalition LSC trainings, and over a half a dozen teach-ins on specific issues such as SROs. This has resulted in one of the largest LSC candidate pools in recent history. 

Our LSC election work is not over. Over the next couple of months, we will be monitoring ongoing election protection efforts, analyzing the election data, supporting LSCs through appointments and hosting trainings on how to be an effective and engaged LSC member. 

We want to raise $15,000 in December to continue supporting our current Local School Council efforts. This month, your impact will be doubled (up to $3000) when you give so please consider supporting the next generation of parent leaders.
