Special ed investigation in the works

The ISBE has given the advocate groups 3 weeks to collect parent testimony on CPS special education practices and policies. If you have a child who has had issues around getting special education services in the last two years, email us at or fill out this form.

In addition, ISBE just announced they will allow for parent input on special ed issues on Friday 2/16 at the Thompson Center.

Each person will get 5 minutes to speak with the inquiry team. The investigation is around service delays, denials transportation issues and summer school denials.
