Special ed investigation in the works
The ISBE has given the advocate groups 3 weeks to collect parent testimony on CPS special education practices and policies. If you have a child who has had issues around getting special education services in the last two years, email us at email@example.com or fill out this form.
In addition, ISBE just announced they will allow for parent input on special ed issues on Friday 2/16 at the Thompson Center.
Each person will get 5 minutes to speak with the inquiry team. The investigation is around service delays, denials transportation issues and summer school denials.
