Fill out our special ed form if you’ve had trouble getting special education services for your child in the past year
As we’ve mentioned, CPS is under investigation by the IL State Board of Education (ISBE) for CPS’ handling of special ed services. After the holiday break, we will receive more information on when public hearings will take place. In the meantime, many parents and guardians likely don’t know about this development, and we want to make sure parents and guardians have the opportunity to testify if they’d like. ISBE will be accepting written testimony as well as oral. Please share this form with anyone you know who is receiving special education services at CPS.
